How do I get around by public transportation?

There is a bus stop within a minute’s walk. The bus number is 22. The metro stop ‘Sintrivani’ is a 7-minute walk away, and the metro stop ‘Agia Sophia’ is a 9-minute walk away. To call a taxi in Thessaloniki, you can use apps such as Taxiway (18300), Uber, or Taxi Makedonia, call a radio taxi (e.g., Taxiway, Taxiwind), or find a ‘rank’ in central points and the airport.

There is public free parking, and in case you don’t find one, there are several private parking lots nearby at very good prices.

It has very good insulation, and the temperature is regulated by 2 air conditioners, operating with inverters.

There are always spare sets of towels/sheets, depending on the number of days of stay.

What are the quiet hours?

During the summer season from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00. During the winter season from 15:30 to 17:30 and from 22:00 to 07:30. The summer season is considered to be the period from April 1st to September 30th. The winter season is considered to be the period from October 1 to March 31.

Where can I eat nearby?

On Agios Georgios Square, i.e., the Rotunda, there is Spira (9 Ag. Georgiou Square, tel.: 6934947988), a café with appetizers that plays reggae and hip hop in the evenings. Next to it is the fish tavern Naftiliki (8 Ag. Georgiou Square, tel.: 2310 247583) with its white tables. Further up the corner, we find the gastro-restaurant Dangara (26 Kon. It is worth visiting the Arch of Galerius (Kamara), the White Tower, the Rotunda, the Church of Agios Dimitrios, the Archaeological Museum, the Upper Town, and the Eptapyrgio. Important religious monuments are the Holy Basilica of Vlatadon and the Church of the Holy Sophia. Aristotelous Square is the center of cultural life. The sights reflect the complexity of the city, from ancient times to Orthodox tradition.
